25 Outrageous Things Jesus Said About Himself
Due to the claims that Jesus made about himself, he can not simply be a good teacher or prophet or idealist or a clever story teller or revolutionist or whatever else someone might want to call him. The complete audacity and outrageous things that Jesus said about himself would disqualify him as any of those things. If he is not truly all he claimed to be, then he is a habitual liar or a genuine lunatic. There is no middle ground. (more…)

Legalism Example
Recently at my place of employment, the main women’s restroom was being redone. This left just a single toilet for all the women in the whole building. This created a long line to the women’s toilet. This created lots of loud talking and laughter. This created one small problem. (more…)

Understanding The Trinity

What’s With All the Rules?
Sometimes people don’t like the idea of Christianity, or any other religion because of the rules. What’s the deal with all these rules anyway? Well God gives us rules (laws) to follow because he wants us to have freedom in our lives. That’s right. When you follow the rules that the Bible lays out, a greater degree of freedom results. Pride sure is a weird thing. I think that the original sin of the universe was pride. Satan is the father of sin, and his sin was wanting to be exhaled above the Most High. He ignored the boundaries that God had set because he thought he knew better than the God that created him. He thought he could run the universe better than God and wanted to be in God’s place.
